Brian Corbett is implied to have a stable relationship with his mother since he thanks her in his Senior Night award acceptance speech in The Rose-Kissy Thing. He mentions her (now ex) boyfriend was a cop in Poker Night and that he seemed annoyed that he shut down poker night, which could imply that he has disliked some of his mothers partners in the past. His mom is implied to have dated (and broken up with) multiple people. His mother's reasons for being single are unknown.

He is implied to be more fond of his biological mother's current partner compared to her past ones since he mentions her alongside his biological mother are thanked in his Senior Night award acceptance speech.

Unnamed Mother's Boyfriend (Former Step-Dad)[]

In Poker Night Brian states that poker night was cancelled due to his mom's boyfriend being a cop. It is later revealed that Beverly set his mother and the cop up to prevent Adam from playing poker. Trivia[]

  • Although unconfirmed, the fact Brian has 2 moms could be an indirect reference to Steven Universe, which Zach Callison plays the main character in. The character he plays has two female role models which are seen as his parental figures in some cases. Also Steven Universe is known for its progressive nature with same sex couples, specifically with women.
